What is a nGauge?
Getting Started. Your HP Tuners nGauge is designed to allow Palm Beach Dyno to build you custom tunes based upon your unique factory file that you pull off of your car’s computer. It does not contain any “canned” tunes, as it is a fully custom tuning device.
How long does it take to get a Lund tune?

According to Ford’s corporate guidelines, tuning your Mustang will void your powertrain warranty. If you do tune your Mustang and need warranty work done, you should talk to other enthusiasts either online or in person to find out if the Ford Dealer you are considering is “mod-friendly”.
How do I update nGauge firmware?
nGauge Firmware Update Place firmware file onto your SD card. Update by using USB to nGauge connection: Connect nGauge to PC via USB cable. Update the firmware via “Diagnostics > Settings > Update from SD”. Wait for process to complete. New Firmware version should be displayed in “Diagnostics > Settings > Device Info”.
Are tuners worth it?
Yes a tuner is worth it just for shift firmness alone. If you plan on getting a cai than you have to have a tuner or you will run lean. I would suggest getting an Xcal 3 or Gryphon with custom tunes. As for a tuner its your choice as I don’t this thread to get into who is the better tuner.

any changes made to the engine require tuning. some things you can get away with, not recommended. a cam i would think requires tuning right away, otherwise damage may occur in some way. You will definitely need a tune with any cam swap that is worth your time.
